Founded Browning in 1986 having spent the previous ten years running his own ladies shoe manufacturer in London.
Qualified as Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche after leaving university and spent two years with a merchant bank before becoming Finance Director of a building services company. Daniel is also Managing Director and majority shareholder of Dune, a fashion footwear retailer and an associated company of Browning.
Duncan Miller graduated from Glasgow University and qualified with Price Waterhouse in 1987, becoming a member of the institute of Charted Accountants of Scotland. He has over 10 year’s international experience in FMCG at both Head Office and divisional level.
Duncan has been with the Browning Group since the start of 2001. Prior to Browning Duncan had worked as CFO of a start up venture and had been part of a team that successfully raised $35 million of new finance.
From 1970 to 1999, Chris worked with Deloitte & Touche, where he was a founder member of the human resources department and became director of training with a remit to build up the firm’s extensive learning and management development organisation.
Alongside his experience in the accountancy profession, he developed interest in growing businesses. Over the past 30 years Chris has started his own training business which was sold in 2003 and has been a member of the board of Baronsmead Associates Ltd and Dalgleish & Co Ltd.
Joined the company in 1998 after a career as Ladies Buyer for the British Shoe Corporation in the Dolcis,Saxone and Fashion Concessions divisions and most recently Stylo Barratts. Becoming Product Director when appointed to the board in 2004.In addition Susannah manages the sales accounts for some of the companys key customers.
After graduating from UMIST with a Business Management degree David joined K. shoes where he became the youngest ever factory manager. Following K. Shoes David became Managing Director of a number of footwear companies including Peter Black, Lambert Howarth and ADOC corporation. From 2000 David took on the role of Global Sourcing Director for Airwair International (Dr. Martens) joining Browning in 2006.
Graham joined Browning bringing with him 15 years experience as a finance professional in small to medium enterprises with a track record of successful systems implementations and change management programs. He has most recently helped take a FTSE-listed plc through an MBO, having been part of the management team that expanded the business from £30m to £100m turnover. Graham has a degree in Physics from Manchester University and in 1999 completed an MBA.
